Great interview. Vachss' books are great and he does a lot of other great work too. Not to mention that he has helped me discover a lot of incredible music. Everytime Burke mentions an artist or a song I immediately go look for it.

I need to update the collection; I haven't picked up anything since Choice Of Evil. Mind, it's not so easy this side of the pond; you have to make an effort. Which I will.

I have a hard time finding his books here too. Most of mine have come from having a friend who works in a used bookstore call me every time they get some in. Which isn't often.

Vachss is the best crime novelist ever and a great man. Yeah, I got into the music of Judy Henske after Burke's description of it. Excellent. I am a little confused. Hard Looks comics came out in the early 90's. Is he referring to a big compilation or starting the series again? Anyone know? Anyhow, thanks for the article.

Great author and one of my personal heroes for his non literary work. Nice interview.
