It really frightens me whenever I find myself agreeing with Tom Cruise, but I've seen numerous studies that seem to conclude that diet and excercise are considerably more effective in stabalizing mild emotional disorders than prescription drugs. My own experience supports that as well (this is of course entirely subjective, but includes many years with a diagnosed bipolar partner).
offtopic: it's been my experience AS a diagnosed bipolar that when you are a slave to your mood swings and the only conscious action you are able to perform during an anxiety attack is to curl into a tighter fetal position, medication is a boon.
As someone who has had severe anxiety since middle school, I wholeheartedly agree.
But I like drugs (prescription ones, mind you) so I'm biased on this topic
But anyway, back on topic,Tom Cruise needs to be hit with something. Hard. And preferably in fast repitition.

I actually live right smack in the middle of Hollywood, but I'm not familiar with that particular building. The only big blue building I can think of is the Pacific Design Center. But yeah, there's a lot of Scientologist stuff in Hollywood. It's creepy.
OK, you should totally know this place then. It is (or was in '92) on Fountain Avenue. It was a weird dullish sky blue. I moved to Orange County right after that job and only came back up through that area to visit friends and see bands.
I'm trying to remember other names it has. I just know that the weirdos at Survival called it "Sea Org" and I assume that was because it was blue. Oh, and they had buses that would take the unsuspecting tourists who just got finished taking either a "personality test" or a "stress test."
I could throw a rock and hit Fountain. I've driven the length of it and know of no such building. It's possible it's the precursor to the gigantic Scientology center near Western.

I wonder if Scientology has figured out a way to tear the billions of molecules of carbon monoxide that's bound to my blood for the rest of eternity.

I did a search including the words Scientology, Fountain Ave, and blue . I found some information on this page. It mentioned the other name which was "The Complex." I knew there was another in addition to "Sea Org" which is what the nutbags I worked with called it. It should be (or was) on the corner of Fountain and Berendo.
By the way, do the Scientologists still wear uniforms down in Hollywood?

Yes they do. You're also both thinking of the same building, but getting confused because while it goes from Sunset to Fountain, the blue colour is how it apprears on Fountain, but, unless I'm mistaken, it only looks to be obviously Scientology-related when seen from Sunset. I think.
