Should have talked more about The Thing . Only the best movie he made . Besides Halloween . And maybe Big Trouble in Little China . Ok , so I would have liked more movie talk as a whole , but did enjoy the interview anyways
I've liked pretty much all his movies I've seen, though I'm not much of a traditional horror fan. Escape from New York (and LA, actually) are great. Also love The Thing.

This is a fantastic interview, and I don't know how I missed it the first time around. DRE was great at getting honest and informative answers from anybody he interviewed. Carpenter Rules.
How did I miss this interview before? It's brilliant. John Carpenter is one of my favourites. Apart from the atrocity of Ghosts of Mars. One of my favourite films ever is Dark Star.
Only seen a few of his movies so far, but Thing's my favorite too. I wish he was more involved in the upcoming prequel. But I guess he knows all. Great guy, great interview.
