For his latest episode Pro-Life, recently released on DVD, Carpenter again teamed with the writing duo that penned his first episode, Cigarette Burns. Pro-Life tackles the...

I completely agree. This movie makes me want to rewatch the Halloween films again and I just watched those like 2 months ago.

This interview got me thinking about how badly I really want a new tatoo... maybe something horror related.

Everyone always mentions The Thing and Halloween, when his best film is Prince of Darkness. Fucking movie still creeps me out.

John: I got stoned while making it.

John Carpenter is hilarious! i was laughing at almost every one of his answers.

My other main involvement in this project is to extend my hand and have a check placed in it.

Bwahahaha! That guy is a national treasure.

I've liked pretty much all his movies I've seen, though I'm not much of a traditional horror fan. Escape from New York (and LA, actually) are great. Also love The Thing.

But yeah, what a great, funny, down to earth, realistic guy.

This is a fantastic interview, and I don't know how I missed it the first time around. DRE was great at getting honest and informative answers from anybody he interviewed. Carpenter Rules. skull

How did I miss this interview before? It's brilliant. John Carpenter is one of my favourites. Apart from the atrocity of Ghosts of Mars. One of my favourite films ever is Dark Star.
