I'm not one for spiritual journeys where I discover crap inside myself but I know that if I ever went on one, I would want David Carradine with me. Carradine is best known as Caine the star of Kung Fu and more recently as the titular subject of Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill. For the first time in his 50 year career Carradine decided to keep a journal while working on Kill Bill. He ended up writing a whole book, The Kill Bill Diary: The Making of a Tarantino Classic as Seen Through the Eyes of a Screen...

I love david carradine interviews. I don't know if he's got the biggest ego in hollywood, or if it's a normal-sized hollywood ego attached to a particularly unrestrained mouth, but I can't help liking him anyway.

Good interview. I worked on a movie with him (Last Goodbye) and he was absolutely charming, very funny and open, and great on camera. He's not been shy regarding his "challenges" in the past (ego, alcohol, etc) but everyone I know who's worked with him in this last decade or so (including me, obviously) has really nice things to say about him.

I met Carradine in New Jersey. I met Carradine in New York. I have talked to and ridden in an elevator with Carradine. I love Carradine's work, so everytime I got the chance, I chatted it up with him. And everytime I did, he didn't even know I was there. Not in a pompous way, but as in a completely fucked up kinda way. Didn't smell the alcohol, so whatever he was on it was good shit. Dead to the world. I was very surprised he made it off the elevator and into a room. I even watched him get interviewed on camera for a fan show, and he couldn't answer any of the questions he was given he was so wasted. All he did was nod. Dead to the world, lol.
This interview impressed me casue they actually got him to talk. Good times. Keep on living the rock and roll lifestyle David. Well done.

Nice interview. Carradine just radiates cool. In a decidedly wierd way.
