Car Rental Advice

I'm taking a trip to Miami at the beginning of April and I'm going to need to rent a car for 3 or 4 days. Here's the thing, all the regular car rental places like Avis and Hertz want to rent me some weak ass dilznick hooptie. But I want a flashy whip. Any advice?

Translation: Their idea of a convertible is a Mustang, I want a Honda S2000. Anyone? Anyone?

Haha, I'm renting a car in the start of April also, only I'm headed to Los angeles. I'm renting a 2006 Chevy Cobalt and thats good enough for me. The only thing I know is that if you want a fly car then most likely they will charge you a arm a leg and maybe even penis.

Wouldn't be the first time I've paid with my penis.

If you look around you can probably find some non-chain places that rent classic cars. Expect to pay through the nose though.

No I didn't. The problem is that the car I want isn't a "luxury" or "exotic" car. Neither is it an American car. So it's sorta in the unattainable ether.

well miami is crawling with places renting out nissan 350z convertibles and mitsubishi spyders and the like. seems like there are 50 different stores just begging to rent you a flashy whip from japan, if not specifically a honda 2000s. but I only looked for like 30 seconds, so who knows?
