Secret Photoshop Agent and resident Fashion Icon Zoetica often has the staff at SGHQ asking, "What's Zo Wearing?" Her unique and eccentric style is a rallying call to those who suffer from mainstream malaise. Each week, she tells us how she's combined ordinary items to create her extraordinary look. Undaunted by unusual combinations, "What's Zo Wearing" is SG's answer to middle-of-the-road makeover shows.

Zo says:This was meant to be a perfectly innocent t-shirt tress. It looked that way on the hanger - soft, not particularly tight, comfortable.

I was wrong. Am i to blame?

No. The dress, the hanger, and possibly the shopkeepers must have conspired against me. I didn't try it on because it's an adjustable design i knew would fit. And it fits! But innocent? Not so much.

Anyhow, as the sun is rearing its flaming head, it is time i share my spring and summer shopping plans. I have to make such plans in order to maintain a certain balance within my, rather sardined, closet. They are as follows: dresses, and things which compliment dresses only. No pants, lone tops and absolulely no jackets. The last part hurts the most, but i've already been forced to purchase a freestanding wardrobe solely for my jackets, and this indicates a problem. I have too many of all these things and until i begin to effectively get rid of extras, there is no sense in aquiring more.

pinstriped jacket: thrifted somewhere long ago
grey zip-up sweater: Forever 21
dress: small shop on Beverly near Fairfax. I'll have to go back there.
socks: Galerie Lafayette
legwarmers: Downtown LA Fashion District
shoes: hand downs from friends of my grandmother. Mega-pointy!

Zoetica Ebb is a painter, SG style technician, make up artist, alt. model, photgrapher & occasional cosmonomad. Born in Moscow, Russia, she was raised by a troup of gypsy scientists from space, who coldly sold her to an American technological research facility in 1992. After a daring escape, she graduated from the LA County High School for the Arts, retreated into the rumored underground atelier where she studied with the much-revered fashion guru Madame Von Kuntzertag, followed by a brief stint at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She's traveled the world, gathering fashion expertise and is thrice certified as official Finesse Monitor to the Khan throne. She hates it when humans tell her to smile. I have those socks!

Thus far, I have nothing to match them with, however... whatever

Another great (and deceptively simple!) outfit.

They say that "clothes make the man," but I'm beginning to think that the opposite holds true for Zo. Everything she puts on, she makes it look good.

It's magic!

You could always do a charity auction for your favorite cause. I'm sure Zo clothes would make tons. Just a suggestion. smile
