See, this is an important bit of information! You go and say "she's married," and it throws up big red warning flags all over the place. Obviously there are some extenuating circumstances.

my girlfriend, jane_tee, suggests not spending more than $37 dollars. We've been together for over a year and that's about what we're spending on each other -- I think I spent about $34 on my gift.
But neither of us have ever been married so maybe it's different for them types.
