Secret Photoshop Agent and resident Fashion Icon Zoetica often has the staff at SGHQ asking, "What's Zo Wearing?" Her unique and eccentric style is a rallying call to those who suffer from mainstream malaise. Each week, she tells us how she's combined ordinary items to create her extraordinary look. Undaunted by unusual combinations, "What's Zo Wearing" is SG's answer to middle-of-the-road makeover shows.

Zo says: I'm 5'4. Towering, it's true. Only recently was i finally able to accept this staggering fact and embrace my tininess.

Even a year ago you wouldn't have been able to tell, because i wore enormous platforms or heels almost every day. These days shiny patent leather flats, ninja shoes and the like occupy much of my shoe rack and, dammit, i like it. While i'm perfectly capable of running in heels of any height, if the need to climb a building of put up a fight with a gang of bloodthirsty hooligans were to arise, i'd much prefer to do so without wobbling.

Moving on, this here get-up is all about color, texture and tiny spaceships. The skirt is rough raw silk and while it is a mix of pale iridescent blue and red, the tones go nicely with the powdery green of the coat and the plum-ish gradient of the fuzzy scarf. This seemingly strange combination works because all the colors are muted and the hints of purple throughout coincide with my hair color.

The tiny spaceships, however, are most important and hold the entire outfit together.

jacket: $40 eBay
T-shirt: $15 somewhere on Melrose Ave.
green tank top [under the T-shirt]: Junker designs
skirt: Anna Sui $6 at Goodwill
ninja shoes: Sketchers
bag: Maxpedition

Zoetica Ebb is a painter, SG style technician, make up artist, alt. model, photgrapher & occasional cosmonomad. Born in Moscow, Russia, she was raised by a troup of gypsy scientists from space, who coldly sold her to an American technological research facility in 1992. After a daring escape, she graduated from the LA County High School for the Arts, retreated into the rumored underground atelier where she studied with the much-revered fashion guru Madame Von Kuntzertag, followed by a brief stint at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She's traveled the world, gathering fashion expertise and is thrice certified as official Finesse Monitor to the Khan throne. She hates it when humans tell her to smile. It's definitely all about the tiny space-ships. I'm not a fan of the Mac, but that might have to do with my childhood trauma of being flashed so many times on my way home from school. God penises were scary back then.

I love the skirt.

A perfect expression of color and form. While fashion merely takes the abilitiy to keep your eyes open STYLE takes intelligence and creativity. You, my dear, have style.

Prekrasno! I especially like that you're wearing that beautiful scar on your right eyebrow. The rest of the outfit is just whipped cream, the furry scarf being the cherry on top.
