Pete Doherty is banned from attending the Brit awards.



But no, it's not officals that banned Doherty_blame girlfriend Kate Moss.



Moss is apprently jealous of songstress Lily Allen after Doherty and the new media darling became friends when they both played London's Get Loaded in the Park festival last summer. Allen gave the Babyshambles singer a a present and after Moss found it, Moss went ballistic.

This decision came on the same day that Allen decided to attend the awards after all. Her father, actor Kieth Allen, advised his daughter that attending the event is an honor she can't pass up.

Allen was worried she'd feel embarassed if she walked away empty handed without any of the four awards she's nominated for.

This guy still hasn't OD'd yet?

Interesting to see insecurity coming from a celebrity who is seemingly infallible. We all suffer from bouts of irrational jealousy from time to time.

Probably for the best though. It would be tiresome to see Pete unleash his hackneyed rock 'n roll antics on the audience.

I love lily allen, she's such a gobshite. I fancy her based on her knobby attitude, Moss is nice but no substitute for her gobshityness. Go Pete, you need a callenge.....

lily allen said on radio 1 today she has gigs the day before and after in america, i think that would be more to blame for her not wanting to go than worry at being embarrassed.
