Body mod - Teeth

Lo folkes.

I was thinking how sweet it would be to have a couple of teeth pulled out my head and get them replaced with some lovely shiny titanium ones. Ive been googleing around for suitable procedures and looked on bmezine, with not much luck.

Has any one got any tips? Stories? Anything?

This whole post confuses me. I don't really get cosmetic metal caps but I really don't get why you'd think replacing your teeth would be the best way to get bling on your grill. And what's with the mad face?

Yeah, you couldn't pay me to have unnecessary dental work done.

If there's nothing wrong with your teeth, I'd strongly advise against getting them pulled out!

See, this is where I disagree. I think if anyone out there thinks it's a good idea to get perfectly healthy teeth pulled out, they should do that.

Then, it'll be easier for the rest of us to tell who they are.

I think you would have to have a post inserted into your gums if you had the teeth completely removed, and those are painful and expensive, so maybe you should look into a nice grill or something.

I'm from America, so I'm not clear on the terminology but, are you what we'd refer to as a chav?

I dont look at is as any differant to any other body mod so long as its done by a professional. Why get needles (tattoos and piercings) stuck into perfectly good skin? Cuase it looks cool, in the eyes of the ermm "victim" atleast!

Hell if bones were visable id get them coated in metal! Pity adamantium if a fictional material :p

Oddly enough Legot, the plural form of Lego, is used as a Finnish slang term for human teeth. So if you did that you would have Legos made of Legos.

I'm not thinking unwise really.. bizarre? yeah. But hey! so many others are.
I suppose it's the thought of having my teeth pulled for nothing more then asthetics.

But uh.. if you can take it, do it! (just post pics! )
