Would you consider yourself to be asexual? I'm actually really curious about this...

Yep. You might want to visit asexuality.org if you're curious about it. There's a lot of info there and a forum for asexuals all around the world. I would officially call myself an aversive homo-romantic asexual, aversive meaning I tend to be averse to the idea of sex, homo-romantic meaning I seek out romantic relationships with the same sex (women, in my case). I have a girlfriend and I desire intimate affection like kissing, holding, etc. I may actually consider sex if I end up feeling comfortable with it with my girlfriend, but we'll have to see once the two of us are able to meet.

Dr. Keith Ablow did a show about asexuality...I found it intriguing. I can understand how it could be both a blessing and a curse. With an asexual relationship you can be sure that the other person loves you wholly for who you are as a person. However, as an asexual, it must be difficult to find another asexual with whom you share an intellectual connection with, let alone how hard it must be to find another asexual to begin with.

sounds more like hella-sexuality to me

Why would someone who is otherwise intelligent think that putting the transmission in reverse would roll back the odometer?

Also, it was Cameron's father's car.

Lots of asexuals, myself included, get into relationships with sexual people, but from what I've read on the asexuality forum, many such relationships are unsuccessful. I've heard similar things about people who aren't very religious getting into relationships with very devout people; religion is such a big part of one person's life that it is too much of a conflict and they have to part ways. Luckily my girlfriend is very understanding and we're working on ways to make sure we're both happy.

A.: Bueller, not Buehler!

B.: Cameron's dad's car. Remember, Ferris was going to take the heat for it, but Cam decides to stand up to his dad. "When Morris comes home... *smirk* he and I will just have a little chat." That segment of the movie is nothing short of grand inspiration to me, and I hold anyone who can't keep it straight in the highest contempt.

C.: Come on now, cut them some slack. They may be smart enough but they're still high school kids. According to the book Matilda, you really can turn back the odometer by driving backward. When I was seventeen, that would have been good enough for me. And anyway, who would have expected Cameron to go apeshit and require that the car need extra support? Hindsight is 20/20.

Behavior I just can't understand: Talking smack about Ferris Bueller when you can't even keep the characters straight. I dare say you're not even half-prepared to bring a proper analysis to the table.

On early cars with a mechanical odomoeter this was indeed true. When I had the trans out of my '61 Falcon, I hooked up a drill to the end of the speedo cable and ran it backwards. I took 3 miles off the odometer in less than a minute.
