Lots of asexuals, myself included, get into relationships with sexual people, but from what I've read on the asexuality forum, many such relationships are unsuccessful. I've heard similar things about people who aren't very religious getting into relationships with very devout people; religion is such a big part of one person's life that it is too much of a conflict and they have to part ways. That segment of the movie is nothing short of grand inspiration to me, and I hold anyone who can't keep it straight in the highest contempt.

On early cars with a mechanical odomoeter this was indeed true. When I had the trans out of my '61 Falcon, I hooked up a drill to the end of the speedo cable and ran it backwards. I took 3 miles off the odometer in less than a minute.
