TV is a big part of modern culture. Especially in the more developed countries.
I can relate eras of my life to the run of specific TV shows, and when I see reruns of some of those old shows, memories spark.

What were some of the 1st TV shows you watched?

For me (I'm no whippersnapper), some are:
The A-Team
Night Rider
The Smurfs
Donahue
Ripley's Believe It Or Not
Amazing Stories
Different Strokes

I loved Pufnstuf when I was a tyke. Later I found out it used to freak out my brother. I've heard some other people say it spooked them, too. I always loved it though, as far as I recall.

I adored the Banana Splits show. Seems to be the one show that I mention that NO ONE remembers. I find myself singing the theme song in my head when I'm really bored.

Dude, the reason I don't have any memories is because I was too busy watching TV growing up.

There was a time I would have sold my soul for a Banana Splits buggy.

SIZE OF AN ELEPHANT!

Dr Who. Man from Atlantis also springs to mind for some reason.

The shows I remember the most are the ones I watched with my grandmother.

Wheel of Fortune
Magnum, PI
Jake and the Fat Man
Bonanza
The Rifleman

The first kids show I can remember are Sesame Street, and the painter guy on PBS that drew space landscapes on orange paper.
