and Alan Rickman in Rasputin

I love them both with whatever they play (villain or otherwise). Actually, my favorite Rickman character isn't a villain at all. I have naughty feelings about him in Truly Madly Deeply.

Tim Curry was a bad man in Annie.

I wouldn't believe people for years that it was Tim Curry.

Yeah, I'd say those work for me. A close second for Curry is as the Cardinal in The Three Musketeers.

I'm guessing more than the wicked rack on his noggin was prosthetic.

Any way my answer is Curry in Legend and Rickman in Harry Potter even though Snape isn't really a Villain.
