while i do really like both of those perfumes i posted, i usually dont wear them.
most of the time, i just put this stuff on after a shower. i adore the way it smells and it stays on all day. it also smells more natural than perfume and goes with your own body scent a lot better (as well as making you all smooth and such.) it's the tits.
Thanks for all of the advice. I eventually went down and smelled about 30 perfumes. I went with Dior's Addict and DKNY's Cashmere Mist. I think I'll try to check out the BPAL, Angel, and Marc Jacobs' stuff in the future. Thanks again.
i hate perfumey smells, and the only stuff i'll use is from Demeter since they're stuff actually smells like real things....i need to order more stuff, actually. i have peach, lilac and thunderstorm right now, but peach and lilac are too sweet for me normally. i'm thinking of going with honey and cucumber next, since they're more subdued scents. and they make ones that smell like desserts, too!

The only problem with buying a new perfume for someone is that you don't know how it's going to smell on that person. Perfumes interact with your body chemistry -- what smells great on one person may smell soapy or too heavy or too floral on another person, and what smells great to you may make her nauseous to wear.
If you want to give your girl a new perfume, I'd recommend taking her down to a good perfume counter and letting her try a couple scents, walk around for an hour to see how the scent settles on her, and then buying her whatever she wants. Fragrance is tricky.
