Why would I, this man wasn't raped. This was, however, a violent physical attack and violent physical attacks on women are reported on as extensively as those against men.

And I quote, "more than half still...unreported" As Maddigan stated, men definitely are less likely to report a sex crime to begin with, but having the audacity to claim that sexual assault crimes against women are reported all the time is grossly unrealistic.

*edit- most of this has been said, really, and i argree that bringing up rape is fairly irrelevant. however, i also think what gristle brought up originally is an interesting point. and lastly i found the comment on media coverage for female sexual assault victims, relevant or not, to be a little offensive. but, yes, this is a heinous crime regardless.

everyone agrees this is awful. everyone agrees that it is awful when the aggressor of terrible crimes is released on bail. everyone agrees this attack is not the same as rape. everyone agrees rape is bad. everyone agrees that rape is vastly underreported, and even more so for men.

I think it's just safe to assume that the woman is bloody insane. And probably not a safe person to be around during PMS. And, I want to know what she did while in custody ("malicious conduct by a prisoner").
