Anyone know the actual definition of 'eskandalo'? I can't find it anywhere. Is it slang?

I think you're thinking "escándalo". And it's a noun that means "scandal". You can say it as an interjection and it's implied to mean "Scandalous!" or "That's a scandal!" Can be used exaggeratingly for something relatively innocuous.

That's the thing that's confusing though- it can be spelled both ways, and it's my understanding that it's an idiom/ exclamation. Like a Spanish newscaster would say it after reporting an accident or something- not always defined as a 'scandal'. I can't find an actual definition anywhere. Oh and thanks smile

Damn, that's a fun word to say. I'm going to have to start saying it at really inappropriate times now.
