This could have appeared in The Onion and it would have been right at home. Washington-based Sherryl Kenney was reportedly shocked and appalled by the SG Burlesque troupe when they opened for GNR this past Sunday.

She has filed a complaint with the Everett Police Department, alleging she was assaulted by spectators who pushed her when she loudly booed in objection to the scantily-clad, chocolate syrup covered hotties on stage.

Earl Dutton, president of the district in which the show occurred, was also in attendance.

Dutton, 79, caught the Suicide Girls performance but left his executive suite at the arena well before the 11:40 p.m. appearance of Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose. That was way past his bedtime.

While he was shocked by the dance number, which he said was in "bad taste," Dutton said he thinks it would likely fall under protected speech if put to a decency test.

"A bunch of ladies got up on the stage that didn't have much on," he said. "As far as the upper part is concerned, I don't know because my eyesight isn't that good anymore. Damn it."

It should be said that by "in bad taste," Mr. Dutton meant "really, really awesome and the biggest thrill I've had in a long, loooong time."

Hey how come when I saw the show the girls weren't rubbing chocolate syrup over each other. All I got was a face full of crappy soda.

And has Sherryl Kenney ever even watched a Guns and Roses video?

If you pay money to hear someone sing Rocket Queen and are somehow offended that a lingerie party breaks out, you need to have your shit checked out.

Where the fuck does it say she filed a complaint with the police?

She didn't like the show, and she and some others complained to the people who run the venue. Seems pretty reasonable to me.

Are we really making a big deal about people being offended by a porn site or its models?

Ah, I've seen these girls - I saw them warm up for the Beastie Boys last year. How were they? I thought it was one of the most appalling things I have ever seen. There were two ladies in cages on either side of the stage with fake uzi's. There were uh, Jesus, it was unbelievable. And when I see someone wearing one of their shirts, I think that they're scum too.

Last sentence of the article:

"Kenney filed a complaint with the Everett Police Department, alleging she was assaulted by spectators who pushed her. Everett police are investigating."

She claims she was assaulted when she booed the SGs. And no, it's not a big deal. It's just sorta silly.

Wow, sorry about that....totally missed it. Embarassing

Although, to be fair, her complaint has more to do with being pushed by audience members. If what she says is true, the people who pushed her are the shitheads, not the person who didn't like the show.

I agree the people who pushed her are shitheads, bigger shitheads than her. But she shouldn't have stood there and booed. No need to ruin it for everybody else when she could just as easily gone to bathroom or concession stands.

Keep up the good work SuicideGirls! You know you're doing an awesome job when you get douchebags to boo you at a Guns N' Roses show.

Doesn't getting pushed and shoved kinda come with the territory when you buy a general admission area ticket for a rock show?

The irony is she lives in Everett, a once quiet small town that you could go see Frehley's Comet at Jimmy Z's (a local small pub), watch people dressed as pirates during Salty Sea Days, and visit quiet little mom and pop shops, sprinkled with an occasional adult book store.

Then came the Navy. It's now teeming with a minor league hockey team, arena football, traffic that makes you want to take lives, and, of course, navy guys, their wives, and lots and lots of prostitutes.

A little chocolate covered partial nudity should be a minor blip on the radar up there these days.

Yeah, I think the bad taste was in having GNR play as the headline act for Suicide Girls. Honestly, when did GNR become cool? In the 80's, they were mainstream hick-music heroes, not even close to as cool as Metallica. Jane's Addiction was the counter-culture hard rock band! Now everyone loves GNR? Why? Just because you piss in a barrel and put it in the basement for 10 years doesn't mean it's ever gonna taste good...
