Yeah I think it's a fedora with the brim kind of bent out of shape.

If this were about wool cloche hats I would be totally weirded out because my girlfriend and I were just talking about them.

whats funny is that if right now you type pork pie hat into google news the first thing that comes up is about tom waits


also waits has been wearing that particular hat for years so it probably has that "pinch" from years of cigarette smoke soaking into it
