Daniel Robert Epstein: David Lynch

I avoided this interview 'cause I didn't want to know about Inland
Empire since I somehow missed seeing it in wherever theatre it
played in in Los Angeles.
I wish it was longer, a bit more in depth, but otherwise great!

It seems to me David Lynch dont like people but I like him & his films, it is really great!

David Lynch movies suck! There a huge waste of time and space! I seen a few of his movies all by accident! I would see the preview and go oh wow I gotta see that movie and hit rent. I would get the movie in the mail and eagerly put it in the DVD player only to say oh dam it i have been tricked again this is another David Lynch film that I was somehow duped into renting. I read he plays the guitar upside down and backwords and uses tons of effect pedals...He might play the guitar better then making a film? Anyway I won't unknowingly waste my time watching another crap lynch film

Lynch never discusses what his movies are about so you can read any of his interviews and never know what his film is about. Even if he told you it wouldn't make any kind of sense at all I think

I wish he was given an opportunity to create a new series for HBO. This boring world needs to see more of Lynch's magic weirdness.
