50 Cent suffered through nine gunshot wounds, but he apparently hasn’t learned temper his act with people who are more powerful and better connected. The rapper blasted Oprah Winfrey in the December issue of Elle magazine. He claimed the talk show host sold-out by pandering to the white ladies.

Oprah declined to respond to 50’s statements. She was too busy swimming in a pool of hundred dollar bills.

Wow... If that isn't the biggest hypocritical statement I've ever heard.

Isn't rap and hip hop (with the hippin' and the hoppin' and the bippin' and the boppin') being listened to by more and more white people?

I hate Oprah... and 50 cent.
Oprah because her arrogence offends me. She thinks shes a god. It's like a trainwreck. Also, because she is the patron saint of housewives.

There are a lot of reasons to dislike Oprah but "selling out to white people" (whatever that even means) is not one of them. What a ridiculous concept, and amusing coming from someone who has no doubt profited quite a bit from the patronage of white teenagers.

I'll step up and take fifty's back on this one. I know he needs it. Oprah on the outside remains a black woman. On the inside she is a white woman. Fiddy however... is black inside and out.

50 was signed to his major label deal by Eminem. So I am really confused about his statements about selling out to a white audience. But perhaps 50 just has a problem with selling out to the old white lady demographic, and who can blame him. I know I hate those bitches.

Yeah, the guy that made him what he is is a white guy that feels he fits better in with black culture... Clearly mr. fitty is ok with that. So what this says to me is that to him, it's ok to be black, not ok to be white.

Explain to me what about oprah is white? Or what you said even means.

I was kind of joking. Kind of not. If someone see the world in black and white, I can see how they would consider Oprah not black. Her entire audience is white, most of her guests are white, she likes Celine Dion. Now, maybe you choose not to see the world in black and white, and instead see it in technicolor, with various races and ethnicities mixing together. That's good, but a lot of American black folks who come from not much money DO see the world in black and white... and with good reason. And in this case, I can see it enough from Fifty's perspective to agree with him.

Fiddy ain't all that. I was shot ten times and have the invisible bullet scars to prove it!
