I finally got a chance to talk with Dave Foley and I just couldnt resist the chance to ask him what his favorite episodes were from both The Kids in the Hall TV show and Newsradio. Those are just two of the best comedies, in any medium, ever created. But Foley was most excited to talk about the new play hes co-directed called The Tribute.
Dave Foley, my fave Kid and Newsradio I think my alltime fave tv sitcom show. I read this and thought about Dave dressed as a woman for the Halloween episode of Newsradio and How much Lisa hated that he looked better. I remember the Phil Hartman episode and the cane. I absolutely love the episode with Dave and Kevin(The Great Throwdini)
HOLY F"N F!!!! I LOOOOOVVVVEEE DAVE FOLEY!!! so much, so, so, so much.... In fact, most of my time being unemployed is spent renting each season of Kids in the Hall from Netflix and drooling over Dave, and LAUGHING MY ASS OFF.... he's sexy as any gender!! My fave sketches of his (off the top of my head) would have to be "The Guy with the Good Attitude Towards Menstruation" and "Girl Drink Drunk".... Good times... if Dave Foley likes the Suicide Girls, can someone please direct him toward my page!!
He's on Craig Ferguson's show from time to time. Always brings his "A" game.

Newsradio is one of my all-time favorite shows. Kids in the Hall is also one of the best sketch comedies ever. Really, there hasn't been anything Dave Foley has done that's sucked terribly.
I think his crowning achievement though is coining the phrases "Riverdancer" for a high card with a low kicker, and "Rockette" for a high card with a high kicker.
Ah, I love Kids in the Hall. One of my favorites is when he is in a café & can't recall the name of the movie he saw the night before. He is describing it to Kevin McDonald and while Kevin keeps saying the name of the movie, "Citizen Kane" Dave keeps saying "no that's not it". This keeps up with a few other things till
Oh and this one..
I could go on for a long time, the whole time lmao. I have never seen him give a bad performance.
I was specifically looking for this one. This is the real Dave Foley, to me. I dunno why, I just feel it captures him the best: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__V1MK_0e8g
I rented Sky High just for some pointless bubblegum to watch one night while feeling ill. To see him, Kevin McDonald, and Bruce Campbell in it made me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Well, there's this movie he stars in called
The Other Guy or something, with Jennifer
Tilly and it was god awful. I mean, Jennifer Tilly.
Dave Foley has always been one of my fav sketch comedy guys.. I loved Kids in the Hall!! I wasn't supposed to watch it though, my step dad thought it was too "gay"--he was such a piece of *^&#. I loved sneaking downstairs to my step sisters room to watch!!! It was always worth getting busted too! NewsRadio, I miss like I miss John Ritter (3s Company) He was so fascinating to watch go from "pretend queer" to "typical horny male". DAVE FOLEY ROX!!!
