NEWS: Robert Smith Makes Ashlee Wanna \'La-La\'

Ok, as a goth, I can hoenstly say that if Robert Smith EVER did that, I quite frankly don't know how I would handle it. All I know is that it would be a gigantic nose dive for one of the greats.

I dont want to be mean, but Ashlee Simpson is a fucking poser.

*vomits* this whole thing drives me through the ceiling.

I suppose I'm sort of impressed that she knows who he is. I guess.

I also suppose that that's about as awful as videos get.

Truth be told, i'd _still_ do her.

I have to disagree that Ashlee Simpson is "so fucking goth it hurts". I'm goth...been goth since the mid 80's. Somehow, she doesn't register on my "gothdar".

Still, even taking into account her lack of talent, I'd do her anyway.

She wears Adam Ant shirts? Nice. Like she even knows who the fuck he is. What was Robert thinking?

I'd bang.


But man, that song sounds like they produced the shit out of it, til her voice is totally gone. Probably for the best, I guess.

I'd pay a bundle to see Ashlee and Robert remake "Islands in the Stream."

She was a teenaged, suburban girl once - she owns a Cure album.

The sad thing is that Robert Smith might take her up on the offer. I love The Cure and have loved them for ages, though Robert is more of a goth-sap now than he ever was. I just hope she starts smearing her lipstick the way that Robert still does in order to "win him over". Now that would be Hot! Another flip out at McDonalds for Ashlee could be a winner as well.

Or without it.

I'm a huge Cure fan (I know, everybody says that these days), and if Robert did something with Ashlee Simpson I...


...wouldn't care. He has nothing to prove to anyone and can do whatever the fuck he wants.






As a side note: calling The Cure "goth" fails to take into account more than half their catalog.
