Secret Photoshop Agent and resident Fashion Icon zoetica often has the staff at SGHQ asking, "What's Zo wearing?" Her unique and eccentric style is a rallying call to those who suffer from mainstream malaise. Each week, she tells us how she's combined ordinary items to create her extraordinary look. Undaunted by unusual combinations, "What's Zo Wearing" is SG's answer to middle-of-the-road makeover shows.

Zo Says: Urban exploration is done in style as me and photosniper Andrew scale rooftops & race against the scorching sun.

Some points to be made about wearing camo: never more than 1 camouflage item per outfit, NO to camouflage with any sort of embroidery, applique or, science forbid, rhinestones. Stay away. I know it's shiny & hypnotic, but resist - it's for the best.

This isn't an understated look, but the color scheme is easy on the eyes despite what could be overwhelming details. Layers of simlar colors without losing shape - nothing's too bulky and there's an emphasis on accessories & texture. Functional & cute, a bit anime without neon anything. Battle-ready, GO!

Jacket -$20 Los Angeles Downtown Fashion District street vendor
Chenile shrug - gift from Tiffany of Darkwear Clothing (about $20)
Skirt - $15 Passport
Legwarmers - $7 Forever 21
Canvas spats/gaiters - $5 i think, at Supply Sergeant
Belt - $16 Supply Sergeant
Shoes - $50 Demonia
Black top - basic layering item found most places clothing is sold. Same goes for the tights.

Zoetica Ebb is a painter, SG style technician, make up artist, alt. model, photgrapher & occasional cosmonomad. Born in Moscow, Russia, she was raised by a troup of gypsy scientists from space, who coldly sold her to an American technological research facility in 1992. After a daring escape, she graduated from the LA County High School for the Arts, retreated into the rumored underground atelier where she studied with the much-revered fashion guru Madame Von Kuntzertag, followed by a brief stint at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She's traveled the world, gathering fashion expertise and is thrice certified as official Finesse Monitor to the Khan throne. I'm completely riveted to this regular piece. I look forward to Sundays because of it!

I would LOVE to see one or two of these done in the same style but for boys. I think you have awesome stylings and a great eye, Zo, and would love to see how they translate to a guy.
I can't wait for next Sunday already. wink

I love how the outfit is put together so seemlessly, like without even trying. Also, great idea to link the clothes. I'm a bit too old for the look myself but it's fabulous on Zo.

My two biggest questions aren't really related to the clothes:

Where can you get glasses like those? I've been looking for a while.

And

How do you get your hair like that? It's so cute.

Thank Science for Zoetica. This lady knows how to put an outfit together. Without her, this whole "Fashion Suicide" thing would still be batting .000.

Yay Zo!
