Anyone else get the feeling that they're trying to set up Syler as a "Magneto" type for the show? not with similar powers but in him being an all powerful badass supervillain.

Except when it comes to power, I don't think you could beat Mr. nuclear there if he could control his abilitiies.

he picked the wrong cheerleader for the same reason Peter did. Jackie took credit for the heroic save of the guy in the train. It was in the trophy case. They thought she was the one they both wanted.

all he knew was that she was a cheerleader, not which one. seeing the story in the trophy case about the other girl who had rescued someone from the fire mislead him.

I really like Jessica .
But is it really Jessica? or is Nikki having a multiple personality disorder that allows her to access her powers?

So who do you think has the most control over there powers so far?
I would have to say it is either Micah or Peter so far. Micah purely because we haven't witnessed him try do it that often. Peter on the other hand we see him do something "new" nearly every episode.

Does Peter realize that Claire is the cheerleader he was meant to save, or does he think that was the dead cheerleader. Claire did say to him that she was no one special, "just a cheerleader."

I still can't figure out if Claire's dad is a good guy or a bad guy yet. He seems at least to be a little differently moraled.

Well he is doing everything for his daughter to try and give her a normal life. The fact that she isn't normal and he is lying to her about her powers and parents etc. It's either going to blow up in his face or she will love him for it.
