Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Clerks: Uncensored (okay, actually a tv show). Went through a Kevin Smith spell for a while...

The oddest movie I ever memorized was Jean Claude Van Damme's Double Impact. For some reason, when that was out theatrically, my then-teen friends and I saw it repeatedly, forming a RHPS-type performance troupe-- we'd speak along with (and slightly ahead of) the characters, react to gaffes in the film (for instance, there's a shoot-out scene around some cars where a car's headlight is repeatedly shot out, then shown to be lit...), and more. We followed it to a second-run theater and haunted its existence there, as well. I've since put most of the movie out of my head, but for 3 months or so, I *lived* Double Impact.

My my my MY GOD !

Ok , I'll stop now . A bunch of my friends got together for a Halloween party the night they ran that episode . I forced the party to stop to watch it as I knew it was Joel's last episode . All I can say is it was the hit of the party , & there were a lot of folks there who had never even heard of MST3K . So I have a special place in my heart for that episode . I love the show as a whole , but that episode was the shit .
