CELEB: Walken Gears Up for 'Motley' Role

Producers began casting for the upcoming film version of the Motley Crue autobiography The Dirt. In an interesting casting move, the director chose Christopher Walken in the role of Ozzy Osbourne. Walken will re-enact the infamous incident in which Ozzy snorts a line of ants off the ground in a quest to out-gross his tour mates.

The casting directors also chose Val Kilmer for the role of David Lee Roth, but they are still looking for actors to play Motley members. It’s rumored all unknown actors will play the roles of Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Tommy Lee, and Vince Neil.

Perhaps they should search LA rehab centers, methadone clinics, and A.A. meetings.

I'm not a fan of The Crue, but that book was awesome. (Even though there were some boring parts.) I'll probably be seeing this in the theatre when it comes out.

This is awesome...Walken as Osbourne. I'm actually re-reading the Dirt again right now and I can't wait to see this film! Kilmer as Roth...sweet.

Walken can do anything he damn well wants to. And pull it off.
