I kinda like the belt and suspenders in this example, because the belt reflects the trim on the shrug and the suspenders. They add (more) pretty curves to 3 sections of her body. It gives this otherwise soft-looking outfit a bondage-y edge. smile

Finally! An entry on the Fashion Suicide page that actually looks like it was DESIGNED! Yay! Yes, it's colorless, but as Henjino points out above, that serves to bring out her hair color. You could critique this and find some flaws, but for the first time since this column started, we're seeing something that actually works.

As Burtlo stated, "the outfit, the pictures, and the model are all quite charming."

I really like the coat, but I'm bothered by the redundancy of a belt worn with suspenders. It's like they cancel each other out.

She must be a very pessimistic lady. wink

and all of this only for $183 dollars!!

all jokes aside, Zoetica looks great, but I think it would be cooler to hear about girls who make their own fashion out of things they find and then remake into something that looks high fashion, instead of clothes that are expensive (for girls on a budget) already and put together well.

Yes : this works, this looks fine, this rocks.
It won't fit me (except from the lovely grey coat) but Zoetica looks just perfect in her own personal fashion.
And the hair + glasses make a great cute combination.

Rudy, you'll see that this is edited by Helen Jupiter. Zo never talks about herself in 3rd person, gosh.

I see that the photos are by Helen Jupiter, but I see no reference that the article was, nor any of the portions that talk about you in the third person were, written by another. This combined by the fact that you are the one posting it, makes it appear as if you are referring to yourself in the third person.

Having said that, I do think you look fab smile

thank you but - look at the top of the article. Helen wrote the intro , you seee

It's a 3/4 length black fleecy thing...I stole it from Mr. V a few years back, and for some reason, I think it's yours.

The person that would complain about the redundancy of the belt+suspenders is strange. Since when is fashion practical?

Besides, engineering teaches us that redundancy is absolutely critical. Should the belt break, what would there be to hold up the pants? That's right! The suspenders. Zo is simply more practical than the common observer is able to recognize.
