Paul Booth is one of the--if notthe--best known and appreciated tattoo artists in the world. In fact, his popularity is cultish. The man's got minions. He created a style of macabre black-and-gray tattooing, rich and textured, that is definitively his own and easily recognized.

Tattooing for over sixteen years, his work can be found on members of Slayer, Pantera, Biohazard, Slipknot, among many other musicians and celebrities, and so he's been deemed the "The New King of Rock Tattoos" byRolling...

That was a cool interview it was interesting and yet still somehow made him out to be more of a teddybear than anything else! Hehe! It was amazing getting to watch him tattoo at last years London Tattoo Convention. And the Last rites guys appearing thid year were top notch too!

I love following up the "pact with satan" mention with the photo of him with the wings on his head . Paul seems like a really cool fellow . Only wish I had the cash for more ink .

good artist but what a douche. dudes who sport soul patches do not make pacts with satan. in fact satan would probably make him shave it off before conducting business im sure. he also looks like a giant tattooed baby doll with a strand of malibu barbie hair stuck to the back of his head with scotch tape. wait is there someone behind me watching me type this....it must be satan lol.

If you are more concerned with what someone looks like, than what they have to say, then you're the one who's a douche. Having worked with Paul for over four years now, there is no one in the tattoo industry who does more to promote tattooing as an art form. It is obvious you have never met the man, or you wouldn't be so quick to talk shit. Show some fucking respect.

this is exactly why i post smart ass comments. i made jokes about what someone looks like...true, i did not however take a stab at his work, and i have never met the dude. i actually expected some sort of smart ass comment back...yesterday. i was bored, that aside i would hope someone would have the sense of humor to maybe take a shot back or something not just point out obvious facts. given what he wrote in his interview not meeting the guy i figured he would laugh at something like what i wrote, c'mon you guys are from new york i didnt expect you guys to be so touchy.

this comment made me lol. taking a trip to fairy tale land were we?

I guess it would have helped had what you said actually been funny. Instead, you just sound like an asshole and ymonster pointed it out. Good for him. miao!!

In relation to the interview. Yay! Paul Booth is fantastic. I can only hope one day I'll get the chance to have ink done by him or ymonster.
miao!!

see this is what im talking about! awesome. but if i really wanted to talk about funny i would talk about the music you listen to...no one takes anybody that listens to nu metal and industrial music seriously. well actually maybe someone would but they are probably not old enough to be members on this site.

I just got one complaint here, it´s the fact that i already know that i won´t be able to get inked by this artist never in my entire life!! Anyway i don´t care how this guy looks, but u can avoid his talent. Besides that whoever have made a tattoo on P.Anselmo arms deserves all the credit for having that chance. biggrin biggrin He´s a fucking genious!! Hail Satan
