O.J. is off the golf course and back in court, this time to prevent Ron Goldman’s father from getting a share of the money Simpson makes from public appearances and selling autographs.

Fred Goldman, whose son, Ron Goldman, was killed alongside Simpson's ex-wife Nicole in 1994, filed a petition last month in Santa Monica Superior Court seeking control of the publicity rights to O.J. Simpson's name and likeness.

Simpson was acquitted in criminal courts of the double homicide but was found liable for the deaths in a 1997 civil court trial. He was subsequently ordered to pony up $33.5 million. With interest, he’s now in the hole to the tune of $38 million. Goldman claims Simpson hasn’t paid a dime.

Meanwhile, the infamous Bruno Magli fan has been lolling about in Florida - a degree or two cooler than his reserved spot in hell. According to Simpson (or, rather, his lawyer), that puts him out of reach of California courts.

The matter will be heard by a judge on Wednesday, the first step in what will, undoubtedly, be another long battle. O.J., the legal system has missed you.

You're a bad, bad man, O.J.

I didn't know this until recently, but since OJ has been tried in criminal and civil court, he can (legally) go in the middle of Times Square and scream, "I killed them!!!"

O.J. is now protected by the Constitutional prohibition against retrying a suspect for the same crime. Even if a hundred people came up today and said they saw [O.J.] do it, we couldn't do anything about it.

If someone stabbed him to death with a big knife, and the gloves fit... I would still acquit.

you DO realize that would be the stupidest thing he would ever do, right (other than killing her, anyway)? sure, he cannot be punished for the actual crime, but they would still nail him for perjury...after all, he DID swear an oath, and last time i checked, lying under oath is still illegal
