To my chagrin, Jessica Alba will never strip down naked for us. Even playing a stripper in Sin City couldnt move Alba to drop the drawers. Why? She told Elle magazine shes just too nervous to take it all off in front of the camera.

"I don't do nudity. I just don't," says Alba, who is currently shooting the movie farce Good Luck Chuck with Dane Cook. "Maybe that makes me a bad actress. Maybe I won't get hired in some things. But I have too much anxiety."

You also will not be seeing Alba inside the pages of Playboy magazine. The actress completely lost her shit when the magazine ran a photo of her on their cover without her permission.

Of the 2005 flare-up in which Playboy magazine published a photo of a bikini-clad Alba on its March cover suggesting, she claimed, that readers would get a glimpse of all of her inside Alba now says, "It was against who I am and what I represent. I've been working so hard to be somebody else, and it just wasn't cool."

The dispute ended when Playboy publisher Hugh Hefner publicly apologized to Alba and made charitable donations to two of her favorite charities, Keep A Child Alive and Until There's A Cure.

I don't get it. Why is it okay to strip down to your bra and knickers but not topless or naked? I understand not wanting to pose for Playboy, and I applaud her sticking to her guns on that, but appearing in films in skimpy underwear isn't exactly different from being naked if you have control over what's shown.

maybe she doesnt want clips of her naked all over the internet.

maybe she doesnt want celebrity skin to take stills from the movie and put it in their magazine

maybe she doesnt want people to notice her because shes naked

maybe she doesnt want peopel to come see a movie shes in just because shes naked.
