Grind House is the latest collaboration between iconoclastic pulp auteur directors Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. Currently in production, the film is actually two films; one per director, joined in the middle by fake movie trailers. Rodriguez's piece is a zombie thriller called Planet Terror, and Tarantino's contribution is the bloody rampage Death Proof. Each director wrote their own segment as well.

The horror-action splatterfest stars Naveen Andrews, Rose McGowan, Rosario Dawson and Kurt Russell and is slated for an April 6, 2007 release.

this looks amazing, and it's only the rodriguez half. i can't wait to see a preview of tarantino's. this seriously looks like one of the greatest movies i've seen in a long time. viva la paracinema!
