i am unsure if this is the correct board to post this, but i figured either way.. someone would point me in the right direction. ;P
i collect license plates. this new thing i am starting. so if anyone has any old license plates that feel like getting rid of.. donate them to meeeeeeee. it would be uber appriciated. i got two so far. woohoo.
thank you ahead of time for even taking the time to read this. <3 much love.
A lot of states, you're required to turn in your old license plates to the DMV, so I'm not sure how much luck you'll have with this hobby, but good luck
Try posting this in The Swap Meet group. Check over the sticky rules, but I think you would post the title as something like WANTED: License Plates. Ya never know what everyone may have lying around.

I would donate mine but the State of New York wants them back - fuckers.
Weren't they stolen?
*wink wink nudge nudge*
Actually I did have one of my license plates stolen once. I thought it just fell off somewhere, so I reported it "lost" and got new ones. Evidently the dude who stole the plate ran an EZ Pass toll in New Jersey and they thought it was me. I got a letter in the mail from the state with a picture of NOT my car with NOT me driving it, telling me to pay up. I called them to tell them it wasn't me and I could prove it. So, they dropped it.
A couple of weeks later the po-lice came to my door because the dude who stole my plate knocked over a gas station somewhere in upstate NY. I had to go to court to testify against him, but of course he didn't show up. I got a $15 witness fee though.
