CELEB: Esquire Names the "Sexiest Woman in the World"

Esquire magazine unveiled their “Sexiest Woman in the World,” and, to nobody’s surprise, Scarlett Johansson was the lucky lady. Editors chose Johansson to grace the cover of the mag’s November issue, which hits newsstands October 18th.

As in years past, Esquire provided months of photographic hints for readers to guess who the cover girl would be. One hint included a game of twenty questions in which Johansson gave away her identity; she admitted she would like Woody Allen to play the lead role if anyone shot a movie of her life. Readers noticed the obvious reference to Johansson’s performance in the Woody Allen-directed Match Point.

Despite the great honor of being the official Sexiest Woman in the World, the actress claimed she would like people to stop focusing on her tits, and, instead, focus on her brain.

Find a dress that accentuates your gallbladder, and maybe we’ll stop staring at your tit-tays.

I'm seriously praying that at some point in my lifetime Esquire or some other such rag names a dude or a transexual as "Sexiest Woman in the World" just to watch middle America's collective freakout.

Esquire is a better magazine than it lets on. With a monthly column from Chuck Klosterman, regular features by Tom Junod, Scott Raab, and Tom Chiarella it's easily the best bad magazine on newsstands. The annual "What it feels like" and "Dubious Achievements" issues are far more entertaining than this silly contest.

Perhaps I will have to give them a second chance. Quick... someone buy me a copy of Esquire.

Of those mentioned, the only one with an elaborate or credible writing history is Klosterman, who originally wrote for SPIN. Another awful magazine.

The other three are ho-hum scribes for a worthless magazine. I think Chiarella helped with Indy Men's, but that was also lack lastur.

The list of pulitzer prize winning Esquire writers goes on and on.

I'd enjoy her organs with fava beans and a nice Chianti.....

Obviously there was an oversight somewhere, seeing as I am the sexiesy woman in the world. Yeah you'd do me, admit it.

See, instead of reading their resumes, I just read the articles they write. I'm crazy that way.

Esquire is all right .. would rather just read a laddie magazine with less pretentions like Stuff, Maxim or Giant, or FHM for that matter

She's an actress who gladly prances her curves and such and yet still has the pretension to get upset that we find them attractive. Sure, I'm sure Woody Allen loves all her internal bits instead of the "other" bits.



I love the attractiveness of Scarlett... I'm not as well versed in the form and depth of her liver to give an apt thought on it.

I remember when "sexy" meant more than having big tits and a curvy body. Yep, she's hot for sure, but sexy? I don't think so. Sexy isn't something you do or wear. It's something that you are. Its a way of being. I suppose an actor could play sexy. But if that's the case, then the character should win the award.

Sort of on that note... one of the more famous bond girls was a tranny and they're are probably millions of men and women alike who jerked it to her, imagine that freak out...
