If you can think of a better use for the internet than judging people from a safe distance, I'd like to hear it.
Well, at least ANS has done much, and very publicly, to bring about criticism. All this kid ever did to get famous was be born.
Why would anyone not actually personally connected to them give two shits in a barrel? Other than some kind of overarching humanist philosophical stand, which in this day and age seems like a lot more trouble than it's worth, - in addition to being impractial and consuming - assumes some kind of universal and spiritual interconnectedness or religious higher power, both compassion and cruelty seem much less genuine than indifference.

I'm not saying we should give two shits. But judging this kid for whatever he may or may not have done is like me judging you for your avatar image.

I could understand feeling no sympathy for someone who ODs on the nastier shit (coke, heroin, etc...) But it's not like he pulled a Shannon Hoon and hit the needle a bit too hard.
No offense but that is some stupid shit right there.
So a guy dies from drugs for depression and you have sympathy but not if it was dope or blow?
You think people bang needles out of happieness?
Learn something about addiction before your mouth makes you look like a fool again.

That's exactly my point in addition to stating that it would be just as absurd to say you liked me because of my avatar image, or in this case, cast this kid as villian, victim or saint.
