I'm just psyched to see two of my faves in the list, those being Flirting and Gregory's Girl (which admittedly has an absolute shit soundtrack). When I was able to get them on DVD dirt cheap I was love

What a JOKE I was sure I would see a certain film that was not only the first to deal with delinquent juveniles but the first film with Rock and Roll.

Now I have to write EW's stupid ass.
If you haven't seen it it is a classic.Started them all.
With the recently passed Glenn Ford and Sydney Poitier in his feature debut.
Blackboard Jungle (1955)
here is the trailer

Saved should definitely be on that list, and most of those movies shouldn't. Harry Potter is as much of a high school movie as Star Wars is.

I like this list if for no other reason than Heathers made the top 5

Also, considering some of the other high school-less movies on the list, I have to believe Weird Science was eligible (considering it has actual scenes at a high school), but just did not make it. I would take Weird Science over any 80's movie on that list, and most of the others.

Also, pretty hard to believe Elephant did not make it either. I was happy to see Just One of the Guys get some love, though. Not hard to believe Dream a Little Dream is not on there, but I would put it there.

Ah my bad, I knew it was one of the two but was too drunk to look it up. He looks SO young in both those pictures, brilliant actor.

BTW the commentary tracks on both of those are great. wink
