Check this out: In the 80's, Atari released a promotional single with "theme songs" for Missile Command, Yar Warrior, and the Atari system itself. It's just awesome.

Download Missile Command; Fly Yar Wariors, Fly, and Atari Theme

Crank it up and play!

But I do remember the Smurfs game being quite the disappointment.

Blasted fences!!!

I had a cousin with a Colecovision. The Smurf game on that system was teh awesum. I whined and cried to my parents that I HAD to have Colecovision for what seemed like years, about a week.

I loved that game. Unfortunately I thought all the other Colecovision games sucked.

My favorite Atari games were Pitfall, Combat and a boxing game that I can't remember the name of.

Oh and Space Invaders. Loved it.

I liked defender 2 more than the first one. Also i had a couple that i loved but cant remember their names because its been 2 decades since ive thought of them.

One of them was you were walking thru a haunted house trying to put together pieces of an urn. and the other one involved a giant duck, a key and a castle.

Haunted House! i'd totally forgotten about that one. i loved playing that.

and i don't recall a giant duck, but the rest of that description sounds like Adventure...

remember, it had a secret room you could find in it?

also, Kaboom! was cool.

Yes those were awesome. I remember that Adventure was supposed to have a dragon but it looked like a duck.

Yep. There was a B52 bomber game I loved playing. Also remember playing a kickass Ghostbusters game on my Commodore 64.
