Is there something going on in your life that you're totally excited about and you try to gush about at every possible opportunity? Here's your chance!

I'm putting mine in a spoiler because, well, the last time I got this excited about something, I think I actually lost a friend or two on here because they got SO SICK of hearing about it! Hahaha. biggrin

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
Me, I'm excited about Nintendogs. It's a simulation game for the handheld Nintendo DS console where you adopt a puppy and take care of it. My girlfriend just gave me her old DS and I've been playing Nintendogs every day since. I adopted a Siberian Husky and named him Link, after the guy from the Legend of Zelda series that I love so much.

In the two weeks or so (I think) that I've had my puppy, I've taught him to sit, shake hands, lie down, roll over, play dead, and chase his tail. I think that's it. I actually got him to sit up and do the begging motion today, but I don't remember how I did it. I did say "beg" to help him learn it, though. (That's one of the cool things about the game; the DS has a microphone and some games support voice recognition! shocked So you can actually say "sit" and your dog will sit! Wild!)

I just discovered that when I take my puppy on walks, it is possible to pick up the stray gift boxes that may be lying on the ground along the way. Just touch the leash holder to it, and your puppy will pick it up. It can be tricky if your puppy is walking fast or running, but it can be done. I found a ?-block and a straw hat that way; much cooler items than the ones I get at regular question marks, which are based on trainer points (I don't have a lot of points yet, so the items I find at question marks are pretty boring, or even downright useless).

I actually woke up one morning and was having some irrational, not-completely-awake anxieties that my puppy would get hurt or I would inadvertently neglect him. It made me really sad. frown But once I was more awake I realized that the game doesn't even allow your puppies to get hurt. Neglect is more possible, but I've been good about taking care of my puppy so far.

It makes me so sad to read about people who get Nintendogs, play around with their puppy for a few days, then leave the game for WEEKS because they get bored with it! frown Poor puppies! I know they're not really real, but it still makes me sad.

Anyway, that's what I'm excited about right now. I doubt anyone will read it, but if you did, thank you for your time. wink

My husband will be home from deployment in just a few months!!! He left for training last summer and has been out of the country since before Thanksgiving. Now, I've survived the better part of the deployment, and making those "when he gets home" plans are actually getting closer to reality. This means not having to sleep alone any more, having lots and lots and lots of sex, going out dancing, and most importantly: Getting to actually try to start a family!

So, yay me!

I have the first act done, im meeting with my co-writers on saturday to put more into it. Next weekend im going to buy some of the props and makeup i'll need and scout filming locations. Ill be filming mid october and that should only take acouple of days. once i have the movie completed by the end of october, I'm going to submit it for entry in the SXSW film festival.

I'm in love. LOVE. I met the most beautiful, caring, funny girl in the world, and somehow by some stroke of stupid luck she's my girlfriend, and I'm gonna marry her some day. That's what I'm excited about.

My friend and I are finally working on our board game, Maniac. It's about time I got back around to publishing and being creative again, and about God damn time that he finally got off his ass and let me help him get connected in the industry.

Mason's fucking great.

The only things that excite me are completely undeserved good fortune and girls who can make me laugh.
