carlos mencia needs to be stopped. anyone who finds themself more "edgy" and entertaining than the actual AUDIENCE does, and who thinks that "dee-dee-dee" can be used as a noun, verb, adjective, AND catchphrase....well you see where im going with this.

and i have given him MULTIPLE chances. i didnt like his first episodes so i quit watching but since it is on its like 3rd season i thought "maybe hes funny now?" NO! hes gotten MORE annoying and arrogant, and if possible, LESS funny.

even his commercials are intolerable now.

That cannot be the real carlos mencia. I remember watching his HBO and comedy central standup specials and laughing my ass off. when i saw that he was getting a show i was fucking stoked. then i saw it. the problem is not all standup material can be parlayed into sketch comedy like dave chappelle's could.

If you mean he says things that are risque and controversial, that is absolutely untrue. He tries to market himself as this "tell it like it is and let the PC police be damned" but he's one of the tamest comedians out there. Shit, Emo Phillips pushes more boundaries than Mencia.

I have never laughed less at a comedian in my life. Every day Ned Holness still walks the Earth is an affront to comedians that are actually funny.

Actually, I'd say he's leaning more towards an attempt at Chappelle meets The Man Show..with the exception of actual 'racy' humor and half naked women. For shame.

I have not seen it but he gets a lot of hype. There are great comics that get no play out there, meanwhile every frat boy is "doing" there favorite Dane Cook routine.

OK, I just watched a few youtube clips and if it is any indicataion then you are right, he really sucks.

Carlos Mencia reminds me of the kid you had in your second-grade class- either he had a fucked-up home life or he had ADD or something, because he could never sit still and was always saying, "Hey, look at me!" Then he'd crap his pants or stuff the class gerbil in his mouth or something like that. You maybe laughed a bit the first time he did it- then you just felt bad for him until June.

Thang god he isnt Dave Chappelle!.Carlos Mencia is extremely funny!...Why?.because he makes fun of everybody...he is just like George Carlin, who is another favorite of mine. If you can't make fun of yourself, then you have no business making fun of anyone...and these guys know how to do it right!!!

Making fun of things normally means there is humor involved. Carlos Mencia is terribly lacking in that department. All I've ever seen from him is a lot of yelling and jokes I wouldn't have found funny in the sixth grade.

I've found that his specials are far superior and funnier than his show has ever been. He does seem to be getting less funny as each show goes down
