When my remote somehow found its way to the US Open match between Andre Agassi and Marcos Baghdatis last night (which turned out to be way more exciting than any tennis I've ever seen), I had the opportunity to see some great filmmaking I may have otherwise missed.
This year's Open coverage on USA features some really kick-ass commercials, specifically a series from Lexus directed by genius documentary director Errol Morris. The three spots follow the lives of tennis balls as they are nabbed by dogs, stuck on walkers and left in birds' nests.
Another prize is this one for Nike, featuring talented and -pretty- Maria Sharapova.
