Sir Sean Connery had enough of your shit and called it a daythe legendary actor announced he will never work in Hollywood again, ending his fifty-year movie career. While presenting a BAFTA Scotland Award for Outstanding Achievement in film, he took the opportunity to lash out at those who he felt ruined his last film, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Connery said, "The time has come because of my rather unfortunate last movie. The cost to me in terms of frustration and avoiding going to jail for murder cannot have continued."
Connery went on to describe the director of The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen Stephen Norrington as being "insane". He said, "He was young and enthusiastic. I presumed someone wouldn't give a person $84 million to go to a wonderful city like Prague without due diligence."
I think the funny thing is the fact that Sean Connery wasn't originally going to do LXG because he didn't understand it. But then he remembered he passed on The Matrix and X-Men for the same reason and they were huge, so he figured he should do it anyways.
Doesn't help that Connery hasn't done a decent film in years, I suppose.
Young and enthusiastic? 40 years old, no problem. I think it's unfair to blame Norrington, especially since we're talking about Sean Connery whose ego on a film set is the size of the Hindenburg.
And Connery won't be in Indy 4. Come on, be serious.

Movie sucked. If I cant blame the director for a crummy movie I guess I can't blame a president for a bullshit foreign policy fiasco.
Yep... Barbara Brocoli will do like her father and lure him back for just "one more Bond film." (or a rival company will lure him to play Bond to destroy Daniel Craig as they tried to do to James Moore).
But this makes me wish he's work there again... I'd LOVE to see a space opera with him and Shatner. When egos collide...
