So am I correct in interpreting this as "any city on the list is fairly drunk" compared to the average, or do lower-ranked cities teetotal? I'm in #30, Indianapolis; I never felt like my city was a drunk haven (though I'm doing my part to raise our ranking as I type)... but maybe that's because I've travelled to enough cities that rank near the top that i'm jaded?

Yeah Pittsburgh.
No wonder why I was a drunk when I lived up there.

maybe because you couldn't go into a store and buy a 6 pack but you had to go to beer distributer with weird hours and buy a case. and anything good would have to be at a state liqour store.

What a sad showing for Vegas. Must be the meth.

How the fuck did we only score a four out of eight for state laws?

It is legal to drink here 24/7. You can't even do that in New York City.

You can walk around outside with open containers (at least on the Strip or on Fremont St, I'm not sure about the rest of the valley).

WTF?

Most of Buffalo has at least one bar on every single block. Apparently Poles like to tipple. My thinking is that the drinking caused them to lose all their vowels.

How is New York so low on the list? Is no one aware the last call is FOUR IN THE FUCKING MORNING!?

I don't know how Portland beat us out. Its fucking hard to drink in excess in Portland.

... The liquor stores are never open, last calls at 2:30am, etc. etc.

Weird surreal

Last call is 1:45 here in Texas, and we got Austin and Houston on the list. Woot.

Austin is way too much fun. Only place I've ever drank beer with a hobo in a thong.

Leslie Cochran, the thonged Hobo!
