Brendan Sexton III is the independent film actor with the fancy name. Sexton made a big impression with his performance as the bully in Welcome to the Dollhouse and electrified critics with his first lead in Hurricane Streets. Ten years later, Sexton is still banging away in wonderful low budget films. His most recent project is Love, Ludlow in which he plays the agoraphobic title character who lives with his sister and hasnt left the apartment they share in ten years. Ludlow is forced to find himself...
Aw, I so love Brendan Sexton III.....I especially loved him in 'Welcome to the Dollhouse'. "I'm gonna wape you....three o'clock".
And he was amazing in Boys Don't Cry, too....I own that movie and can't watch it 'cause it makes me bawl like an idiot every time, and leaves me crushed.
I think it would be quixotic after all of these comments on Brendan's crushableness (not to be confused with the Cruciable-ness) to mention that I have had a hard on for him since I was 10 years old, HOWEVER I will say... that he should most definately check out a band in Jersey called A Love Like Pi (www.myspace.com/alovelikepi ) if he's on the rampage with the independant arts... And I will mention for you Empire records fans... Coyote Shivers (Burko) is still performing, actually DJing now, has released 2 1/2 albums, and has a myspace account (www.myspace.com/coyoteshivers )
