OMG what is this? It was on the screen for less than 1 second, exactly 30 frames, at the beginning of Sci-Fi Inside Stargate SG-1 200th episode.

This is a writing and production building at MGM. Does this mean NEW episodes of Dead Like Me? I'm giddy just thinking about it. I think they're dropping us hints.

Or did they already officially announce it and I'm just behind the curve?

shocked I hadn't heard an official announcement yet. Since it was on the screen for less than a second, I wonder if it was even deliberate. Either way, Yay!!!! biggrin

I think the fact that it was on the screen for less than a second is a pretty good indicator that it WAS deliberatle. Why else would they show it? Those trixy MGM hobbitses.

Or it could be stock/older footage used simply to establish an MGM lot location, or it could be a sign that just hasn't been changed. *shrug* Frankly, with the continued acclaim for Dead Like Me and clamor for more, I'd assume they'd do more episodes, but a second-long flash of footage of unknown vintage on a documentary about an unrelated show isn't enough to come to a solid conclusion.

I was thinking it couldn't be an old sign because I didn't realize MGM was the original production co. Now I realize that's probably the case. However, maybe they aired that little tease on purpose to see what the reaction would be on blogs and forums.

I thought about that. But it would take some pretty extensive editing for them to have done that. More so than just panning the camera like they did in the beginning.

I don't know if you've seen the episode, but it basicly opens on that then an instant later quickly pans down to one of the characters walking into the building.

edit: also the fact that Stargate Atlantis is on there, when filming for SG:A didn't start until after DLM went off the air, so seeing them both on the same sign would be unlikely.

Excellent investigative work. I can only hope it is true.
