I've seen enough episodes of the show to know that Don Vito doesn't make the brightest decisions...and does a lot of things to garner attention...many of them imcredibly crude & obnoxious. He also seems to be open to suggestion if he thinks it'll be funny.

I don't see it as inconceivable if someone were to say "Her Vito...I dare you to go smack that girl's ass" and he did it.

He's also the owner of a notorious drinking problem.

It doesn't make him guilty by reputation...it just means...I'm not surprised or shocked.

i kind of wished it was bam, because i've always wanted a valid reason to hate him. aside from his crappy facial hair, 'in your face' attitude, and wearing of so-called 'hookes'. or, i guess it would be spelled hoque, but that just looks strange. ALMOST AS STRANGE AS THAT HAT LOOKS.
