Everyone has issues with their significant other’s parents: maybe Mom made some passive aggressive remarks or perhaps Dad can’t keep his eyes off your tits. However, your issues pale in comparison to Eve’s; the rapper broke off her relationship with Teodorin Nguema Obiang because his father is not so nice.

Eve’s on/off boyfriend is quite a catch: he has looks, money, and style. He might also become the president of an African country. Eve balked only because of the guy’s dad, Teodoro Obiang Nguema. As the President of Equatorial Guinea, he has a reputation as one of the most ruthless dictators in the world. The guy took $700 million a year from his oil-rich country, while the citizens get by on less than $1 a day.

People accused Teodoro not just of theft, but also of cannibalism.

Friends of Eve claimed she will never date Teodorin again.

Am I the only one who thinks it's wierd that the guy is called teodorin and the father is called teodoro.

Also saddam used to feed his republican gaurd on the bodies of persian and kuwaiti POWs. So I think the cannabilism might have something to do with being a dictator.....

This story also explains the reason that the guy would get nervous every time Eve got near his testicles. That may explain the break-up a little more.

Funny how cannibalism allegations tend to be levelled at dictatorial leaders of African nations-- Idi Amin of Uganda in the 1970s, Emperor Bokassa of the CAE (1960s-70s), President Obiang. Of course, they're never proven. Funny, too, that these unproven allegations tend to overshadow the known abuses of each dictatorship.

Maybe it's good that the allegations receive such publicity, as it opens the public to hear of the real problems caused by these abusive dictatorships. However, it smacks of a weird form of racism that European and Asian dictators tend to be villified for genocide/mass murder/financial looting, while African dictators muster no villification-- genocide, mass murder, and looting their countrymen is fine-- until they can be seen as subhuman cannibals.
