Snakes on a Plane hasn't even hit theaters yet, but it has already made IGN's list of the best snake movies ever. I dont how many there were to choose from, but then again, IGN does define snake loosely - Dirk Digglers trouser buddy landed Boogie Nights the 7th spot.
TOP 10 SNAKE MOVIES
10. Boa (2002)
9. Anacondas: The Hunt For the Blood Orchid (2004)
8. Conan the Barbarian (1982)
7. Boogie Nights (1997)
6. Boa vs. Python (2004)
5. Python (2000)
4. King Kong (1933)
3. Snakes on a Plane (2006)
2. Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
1. Anaconda (1997)
i really hate this snakes on a plane bullshit. this movie will be terrible and everyone knows it. why are bad movies becoming cool just for the sake of how bad it is? shit, we don't even really know how bad it is. ahhhhhh.

C'mon this is nothing new, Ed Wood's whole career was based on people loving movies that were so bad they were good. And do i even need to point out Killer Klowns From Outer Space.
Some bad movies deserve to be cult classics, that said a movie should come out and at least be seen before it gets all the hype that snakes is getting.

Basing my opinion solely on the movie trailer and a quick leafing through the "novel", my sympathy goes out to Samuel L. Jackson on the death of his career. It was a good run, Sam. Too bad it has to end like this.
I, for one, welcome the day when Snakes on a Plane will be a distant, mediocre memory.
I mean, i thought it sounded pretty damn funny at first, but the joke has been so repeatedly and thoroughly driven into the grown that I'd be pretty fucking thrilled if I never heard about it again.
