Katrina Pets

Ok, this article i read kinda pissed me off. It was in the new People magazine, and unforyuantely they don't have it online to link to. Anyway, the article was about people who had lost their pets or who had temporarily placed them in shelters due to hurricane Katrina. When the went to get their pets back, they had all been readopted out, and the new people who took them are now refusing to gie them back to their rightful owners because they became attatched. I'm sorry, you think these people would have a shred of decency and give back these pest who belonged to other people. WTF is wrong with these people!!!C'mon!!, They owned the animals their whole lives, you have them for a couple of months and you can't bear to give them up!?!?....i'm sorry, that is just plain wrong!!..The original pet owners are getting lawyers, and i hope they win. Has anyone else read this artice...i just wanted to share, it really pissed me off!!!

I didn't read it but that is sad. I'm glad someone was there to give them a home but I'm shocked someone who loves animals could be so callous to the original owners.

That is so wrong.

well, you would think animal lovers' would know better.
