Aaron Spelling left everyone’s favorite daddy’s-girl a broke-ass motherfucker. Well, broke-ass by a wealthy person’s standards. A feud with Mom resulted in Dad cutting Tori out of his will. Many assumed Tori would inherit an assload of her father’s $500 million estate after the death of the legendary television producer. It appears Tori’s mother Candy had different plans.

Us has learned exclusively that the actress, 33, will get just 0.16 % of the Spelling fortune. Tori's share - a cash inheritance payment of $200,000, combined with approximately $600,000 in private investments her dad set up for her - is a brush-off Aaron Spelling would never have intended for his only daughter, says a family source. "I believe Candy had a lot to do with what was left for Tori," the source says of Tori's mother, who is sole managing executor of the estate.

Apparently Aaron thoughtfully left Tori’s younger brother a bit more of the fortune. Inexplicably, Aaron bequeathed Candy’s interior decorator and manicurist their own chunk of the fortune. That’s gotta hurt.

I watched those goddamn shows of his. Don’t I deserve something?

i don't know tori spelling personally, but i have met her and chatted with her on occaision. i believe that her publically alleged personality is a bit off the mark. while her intelligence, talent and fashion choices might remain inscrutable, she has never been anything but pleasant and congenial in my presence. in fact, after spending some time with her, i feel a lot of sympathy for her.

i'm a pretty perceptive person (comes from a long childhood of having to accurately gauge the mood swings of abusive parents) and she strikes me as a deeply sad person. i haven't met many people in my life as in need of a good no strings attached hug as her.

now on the subject of the inheritance, this one hits close to home for me.

my father passed away and the entirety of his estate (which was a far cry from $500 million) went to his wife (my step mother). even though my father had written a will that left me as sole beneficiary, in texas you cannot change your will while you are married without the written consent of your spouse. how quaint. so when the $750,000 all went to my step-monster and a few of her friends and all i got was a trip to the funeral...well, that just smells rotten.

it isn't like the feud was between tori and her father (at least not according to the gossip rags).

and, even more interesting, is how could a mother cut her daughter out. reeks of bad parenting, IMO. even my mother always swore she'd love me no matter what. of course, that was usually after she had beat the crap out of me.

Guy always was a piece of shit, looks like he died leaving the same wake he made when he lived, maybe she can console her self with the idea that he's likely as not idling in pain in some purgatory of his own making. Just a thought.

And honestly in this day and age, who still does that "I'm cutting you out of the will" bullshit, grow up you old money cork suckers...Geez.

Okay, let's get this straight. Tori and her mother were in a feud over shit that Tori said about her mother on her "comeback attempt reality TV show".

Secondly, Aaron was in really bad shape and eventually suffered a stroke which killed him. How long did it take Tori to get back? If I remember correctly (and I have no idea why I even remember this crap) it was like a WEEK after his stroke ... he was already dead.

Real doting daughter there.

I raise a glass to Aaron for kicking his no-talent princess of a daughter in the ass.

Bear in mind that of that $200,000, at least half is going to taxes. So that leaves her with a hundred thousand dollars. That's about how much a comfortable middle class couple makes in a year, right?

Hell, my father's only a headlighting engineer and if I only got $200,000, I'd feel pretty cheated too.

I think these kinds of "news" stories on SG are retarded and bitchier than the celebs they attempt to razz...

what does this have to do with either alternative culture or hot chicks?

I know it!! THis site is only supposed to be about "alternative culture," so what is the deal with all the stories about Israel and Lebanon?!! Hello? Those aren't counter-culture, duh...

From now on if it doesn't have "tattooed hottie" or "wicked hardcore underground music" in the title--I ain't reading it, Newswire!

my response was short because we've all been through this a million times.

if you don't like it, don't read it. there are people that enjoy it, which is why it is here. it is not impairing your standard or living or anything, so let it alone.

Honestly... the harsh reality of the world is seeping at me from every other corner of the internet... when I come to this site... it's to look at hotties. call me old fashioined if you will... but I could give a fuck about anything else on the site...

in fact... why am I even bothering to discuss this here? perhaps a glimmer of hope that it would effect change...

Look at it this way: some people think Tori Spelling is a "hot chick" (as you so profoundly put it). If that's not an "alternative culture" I don't know what is. . .

If you call my stories retarded one more time, I'm going to come down to your mother's basement where I'm sure you are currently residing, and spit in your face.

Actually, I'm just kidding. I don't really care what you think.

Thanks for your opinion Mr. One Friend No Journal Having Guy.

You have apparently invested much into the SG community and therefore have earned the right to speak for everyone.

not everyone has the luxury to drop what they are doing and rush across the country or world if a family member takes ill. and if he was sick for a long time, maybe she and he had already made peace with his death. we can't know.

She was at a MuchMusic awards show or something in Toronto. Frankly, I'd prefer to be in Toronto rather than deal with my father.

I dunno ... if my dad were on his deathbed (pointless personal fact: my dad is dead) I'd be rushing my ass home. Especially if I had Spelling money.

There is no excuse for her to have not been there.
