I'm obsessed. Is there an intervention for people addicted to eBay? I think I need help.

I feel your pain. I'm currently obsessed (like MANIAC level) with travel bags, luggage, hatboxes, traincases. It's bad. REALLY bad.

We should almost have an SG eBay group. Better yet, have a group for those of us who've gotten BURNED big time by evil, greedy, and nefarious sellers.

eBay=love/hate, but some of my best stuff is from there.

yea, i just thought i got burned but i didn't ... i purchased indesign on it there and it looked legit copyright-wise, but some fuck from adobe decided it wasn't so ebay decided to tell me they pulled the auction after i paid the seller. didn't hear from the seller until just recently and it's suposedly inthe mail anyways. i will cry if i paid and got nothing ... thought i'm sure ebay would have to resolve it since they didn't notify me til after th auction ended.

makeup is fun to get in there too. i've been going mac crazy people sell new stuff in lots.

We should. We need a support group. Seriously.

I love selling things on ebay. I just want to figure out a better way to mail. I hate dealing with those bastards at the post office.

Well, once someone has confirmed their interest in an item, if you send a payment request invoice through PayPal, and your buyer pays you, you can use their services to ship via UPS. It's pretty cool.

ahh, I am an eBayaholic. It's so evil sometimes, but so good. It's just like any drug. And I support the idea for a SGeBay group !

ah, ebay is great. i've been addicted for 3+ years. almost anything you want, just a short search away... and i don't feel guilty about buying too much, because i can always sell a bunch of my old stuff to make my money back.

Yeah I got burned on a the Kingdom Series 2 DVD set a few months back.. sucks..

although I think I've had good eBay karma recently as two items that I really wanted that I lost auctions to.. I ended up winning. Oh yeahhhhhhhhhhh.

I got burned on a $300 scooter part. I have taken on a new mentality of posessions, only stuff I need and use every 6 mnths or more, will I continue to own. So my e-baying has stepped down a but, but I know what you mean. I also got screwed on shipping cause I didn't realize it was coming all the way from canada.... mad

That's funny you mention e-bay karma, I explained to the e-bayer, coincidentally also in montreal, quebec, what karma was, and that if I still got screwed, so would he, later on. I think I at least taught him that lesson, because he later told me he was afraid to do something because of bad jkarma, and he totally had no idea before what the word meant.

Once I was totally pissed because there was an auction where a guy overbid on something so nobody would outbid him, and I tried to drive it up just to make his price higher and I overbid him by like $.50. I probably shouldn't have tried to be such a dick though, in retrospect.

yeah, I currently have 3 things that I've paid for 2 months ago and still haven't gotten, all from different sellers, and they won't return my messages, one of them is listed as "no longer a registered user" WTF? He took my money and bailed! I also had a guy who never sent the item, it took me 4 months to get all the money refunded, and he still owes me 6 bucks!...E-bay sucks, I loved it for awhile, but it blows......
