I'll be out that way in mid august. I'll be down for any events around then. It's been almost 3 years since I was there, and now it seems like all the bands I'd see are either on tour or broken up. It's really sad....

getting a location together, ie. a house or renting a space, is going to be rather difficult. may i suggest that we meet up in either man ray's in cambridge or en tu anua near kenmore? both have goth/industrial nights and are cool places to just chill out and have a drink. the weekend of 13-15 is good for me. and gives anyone else time to plan.

my roommate is all about these club things....he DJs and promotes and stuff so if we want to totally take over a cheesy downtown club we could all get in for free...or course, we will have to put up with silly music and lame people...but damn, ITS FREE!

Hell if there's gonna be a Boston party I'd love to catch a bit of that. An Tua Nua on Monday might be a nice place to meet sometime. Their club stuff is free before 9:30.

Anywhere else we can get in for free is also good.

yay for beantown people! finally getting together!

I don't really frequent the goth/industrial scene much, but thats ok. When i go out to clubs its usually to see house or hiphop (and 60s nights of course, when boston has them). But i would be down for whatever.

I went to the new place in Chinatown called 'Ekco Lounge' last friday. Its diiiiggity dope. Real nice atmospere, nice chill downstairs with good seating....and upstairs is the main dancefloor with couches! woohoo! I have waiting for a club like this that actually plays _decent_ music for a long time. Usually clubs here have good music OR good atmosphere, never both. Its being managed/run by the cats that did The Lava Bar (oh how i miss that place). I think they also run Circuit Girl. I have high hopes for this place, I hope it takes off. Thursdays are going to be deep soulful house, with the first one being this week.

So anyway.....thats my two cents.

can i push for either friday or saturday night at manray's which ever is the better night... for two reasons. myself (nj) and neil (nyc) and possibly others are out of towners and our work schedules aren't that flexible. i personally love any excuse to come and party in boston. if this thing goes on midweek there's just no way i can make it. please consider...

Did anyone see that episode of SNL where Jeff Goldblum tries dancing to Aerosmith and looks like a 'tard? Yeah, that's how I dance. Which is why I just sit down and smoke. Despite my boringness, I'm down with whatever. I can tell work to fuck off and kick it commuter rail style because my a)my van, "The Executive" is shakier than a Jenga game and b)Hell: driving in Boston by thy name.
